Kellers Minde Museum aims to spread knowledge of the history of the Keller Institutions. The museum houses various effects and history of the conditions of the developmentally disabled from 1899 to 2012.

The small town of Brejning has been characterized by the location of De Kellerske Anstalter in the town since 1899, and the beautiful buildings testify to a distinctive piece of Danish history. In connection with the institution's gradual closure, effects that have been used in the care for the mentally retarded in connection with treatment and care have been collected, and this has become the historical collection, Kellers Minde.

Kellers Minde Museum also contains books, pictures and other knowledge material from the special history.

The collection is the largest of its kind in Denmark, covering the entire history of the mentally handicapped.

Opening hours: www.kellersminde.dk.

Group tours can be ordered with a historical presentation by contacting tel. +4523374117.
