Børkop Watermill - mill & Uncle Svend's Collection
Distance: 10.25 Km
Børkop Vandmølle dates back to the 16th century. The mill is a fully functioning gearbox-type water wheel mill that grinds both grits and flour. In the local history museum "Farbror Svends Samling" in the old pigsty, you can see household, agricultural and craft tools from ancient times.
In the former farmhouse there is a gourmet restaurant where it is possible to have a delicious meal. The museum and the mill are open every weekend and public holidays during the summer from kl. 14.00:17.00 to XNUMX:XNUMX. During the same period, the watermill runs and the mill sells freshly ground flour and groats.
Entrance and tours are free during the stated opening hours. Outside opening hours, guided group tours can be arranged. More information on price can be found at https://www.borkopvandmolle.dk/.
