The tickets are released for sale when there are less than 180 days to go. There are tours in June, July and August and a single date in September. See dates for the trips you can book, including on the page or book the trips at place2book.

This is how the guided walk to Æbelø takes place

Out-and-home trips take place at low tide, and you should expect to be away for approx. 8 hours.

The meeting place is at the parking lot / a field at Lindøhoved.

Arrive no later than a quarter of an hour before departure, so we can be ready to go on time - the tide is not waiting.

You should bring a backpack with food and drink as well as a garbage bag - sunscreen is also a good idea on a hot day.

There are at least two meal breaks along the way.

Remember that there must be room in the backpack for the dry shoes you need for the walk on the island itself.

It is a good idea with good walking shoes for the round trip as well as a pair of bathing shoes or extra shoes that can withstand salt water, as there are large, slippery stones on Bråddet. Here you can not walk barefoot.

Also remember towel, possibly. swimsuit and extra socks. The water on the ebb road can reach up to the knee, so it is best to go in shorts or swimsuit.

Possible cancellation of the trip to Æbelø

The guides check the weather forecast three days before the trip. The trip is canceled if it is extreme weather such as heavy rain, thunderstorms or if the wind turns in the northeast or northwest and gives elevated water levels. If the trip is canceled due to extreme weather, the ticket will be refunded ex. fee.

The guides on the tour

The guides on the tour, Suzette Frydensberg, Brian Hansen, Daniel Sørensen, Ulla Rasmussen and Linda Sørensen, are all approved by the owners, Aage V. Jensen's foundation.

All trips are approved by Aage V. Jensen's nature fund. The tours take place with respect for the vulnerable nature of the island.
